Hello World - Atlanta Launch Recap!

I attended the "Hello World" Launch in Atlanta tonight with Aaron Reid, James Smith, and Jason Johnson of Y.E.E.C. (Youth Entrepreneur Empowerment Coalition) at The Loft on West Peachtree. The house was packed with who's who in the Atlanta music scene, L.A. Reid, Pebbles (aka Sister Perri), Dallas Austin, Chaka Zulu from DTP, the composer- Shakespeare plus a blast of performances by Big Sean, Kanye West's new protege, Overdoz, a group managed by Aaron Reid out of Los Angeles, Ray Lavender, Rich Hil, and Def Jam recording artist, Unique, among others. To say the least, it was inspiring to see so many youth who have gotten signed and came back to help others, and new talent waiting to be discovered there ready, willing, and hungry to make it happen. Here are just a few videos and pictures I took of the event. Don't worry if you aren't in the Atlanta area, this show is going on a 4 more cities to visit in their 5 city tour (NYC, DC, LA, and Chicago). If you'd like a full report of what the scene was like check me out on the Creative Loafing blog next week!
