about close to the bottom.

close to the bottom. is a compilation of interviews. it began as a quest to figure out what people "do" [creatives mostly], how they got to where they are, and what obstacles they faced along the way. when i talked about this project with my brother, cheo, he warned me that i may not be able to get to the bottom of my search. that's when i decided i would get as "close to the bottom." as possible [which is how i came up with the name.]

each person i've selected to feature on this blog has a story to tell and knowledge to drop. at the core, i'm a journalist and i love knowing how people got to where they are and lucky for you, i've decided that i would share my discoveries. i don't know how long this project will go on but as of now there's no end in sight; the more i know the more i realize there is so much more to learn.
